The EasyCoder™ 4440 is a 400 dpi, high capacity, industrial strength, direct thermal / thermal transfer barcode printer based on the field proven 4420.
With its continuous duty cycle, the EasyCoder™ 4440 is great for high volume round-the-clock printing in harsh industrial environments. With 32-bit RISC processing and selectable print speeds up to 20.32 cm (8in) per second the 4440 is fast in image formatting and time-to-first print.
Intermec's exclusive PrecisionPrint technology allows the EasyCoder™ 4440 to keep the printed image within the tightest tolerance whether printing in batch or on demand operation. Labels that are odd shaped small or preprinted are no problem with this proven technology.
The 400 dpi print resolution makes the 4440 ideal for a variety of 112 mm (4.4in) labeling applications requiring exceptional print quality, such as 2D bar codes, small text, graphic images and small linear bar codes. The new industrial metallic gray color fits into a wide variety of application settings.
The 4440 features a ten inch per second print speed. The design allows for a full 8" diameter roll of media and 450 m (18,000") ribbon to maximize operator productivity. When equipped with the optional internal self-strip and full roll batch take-up the 4440 can print and rewind a full 8" diameter media roll.
The 4440 offers a variety of connectivity features and options to suit your particular environment. The 4440 printer comes standard with bi-directional parallel and high-speed RS-232 communication interfaces. The optional internal Ethernet adapter provides high throughput and network management without the complexity, space requirements and fragility of external print servers.
Intermec® LabelShop™ START™ design and print software and InterDriver™ Windows™ printer drivers are included, free of charge.
With robust performance, fast throughput and rugged steel construction, the 4440 is built to take it in harsh, industrial, manufacturing, distribution and warehouse environments.
